Gr1 Polished Titanium Rods are made of pure titanium alloy containing 99.2% titanium, 0.2% iron and 0.4% oxygen. It is an alpha-structured titanium alloy with excellent stamping and welding properties, as well as good machinability. It is often used to manufacture parts with low stress below 350 °C, and can be used for stamping and forming of various complex shape parts. Due to the severe rebound of Gr1 polished titanium rod alloy at room temperature, the forming stability is poor, and the dimensional accuracy of the formed parts is low. For this reason, "plate making + welding + heat setting" is often used in production.

GR1 Polished Titanium Rods are made from the strongest, lightest and most corrosion resistant metal. They are ideal for producing high performance parts in demanding applications. It is very robust and lightweight, making it ideal for aerospace, medical and military applications. They are also non-magnetic and therefore suitable for use in MRI scanners. It is also highly resistant to corrosion, making it suitable for use in seawater and other highly corrosive environments.
