January 30, Chrysler Group released financial data in 2012. In the fourth quarter last year and the whole year, the main financial indicators such as operating revenue, business profit and net profit, grew year on year. Especially business profit last year increased 50% year on year.
I n the fourth quarter of 2012, Chrysler’s global operating revenue achieved 17.153 billion dollars, up 13.4% year on year compared to 15.129 billion dollars in 2011. Chrysler’s operating revenue reached 65.784 billion dollars in 2012, with a rise of 19.6% year on year compared to 54.981 billion dollars in 2011.
The operating profit after correction grew 40.0% year on year from 508 million dollars to 711 million dollars in the fourth quarter and increased 47.7% year on year from 1.975 billion dollars to 2.912 billion dollars in 2012. The operating profit rate after correction was 4.4% in 2012.
The EBITDA rose 14.2% year on year from 1.171 billion dollars to 1.337 billion dollars in the fourth quarter and went up 14.6% year on year from 4.754 billion dollars to 5.45 billion dollars in 2012.
The net profit increased 68.0% year on year from 225 million dollars to 378 million dollars in the fourth quarter and grew 8.1 times from 0.183 billion dollars to 1.668 billion dollars in 2012. The net profit rate was 2.5%.
